The FPCA is the nation’s pre-eminent law enforcement professional association, speaking for Florida’s chiefs and providing guidance and leadership for the future of law enforcement and our communities.

Your membership dues keep us strong through professional training, training scholarships, operational readiness to respond to communities in the wake of natural or man-made disasters, holistic officer wellness & resiliency, connection and accountability to our communities and information sharing to support our law enforcement leaders across Florida.

There is a place for you in the Florida Police Chiefs Association!  We offer law enforcement as well as business and public categories of membership.  Please refer to our FPCA Bylaws regarding more details on membership types. Chief Executive/Agency Head
Dues are set by agency size (Sworn 1-25 $210, 26-55 $260 and 56+ is $310). Membership in this group shall be for active chief executive officers (CEO) of a Florida Municipal, College/University, School Board/District, Federal, State, Tribal or Airport, Railroad or Port Authority law enforcement agency.  These are voting members of the FPCA.

Second in Command
Dues are $135 per year. Membership in this group shall be limited to command staff members that would serve on behalf of their agency CEO as “acting” upon his/her designation to make decisions for the Department normally reserved to that of the CEO.

Management
Dues are $50 per year. Membership in this group shall be for all sworn or civilian management positions within a law enforcement agency as approved by the agency CEO.

Law Enforcement Officers
Dues are $25 per year. Membership in this group shall be for any current law enforcement officer (officers, troopers, special agents, etc.) or any law enforcement officer that retired in good standing from any agency in Florida or the United States.

Professional Law Enforcement Staff
Dues are $50 per year. Membership in this group shall be for any currently employed civilian staff that are not in a management position at a Florida law enforcement agency.

Sustaining
Dues are $40 per year. Membership in this group shall be for retired or resigned as a Police Chief, in good standing from any city, town or village in the United States.

Membership Benefits include: FPCA membership card, lapel pin, FPCA law enforcement decals, and access to the FPCA Members Only section of the website , law enforcement alerts, and digital publications.  For those eligible to attend FPCA trainings a discounted training price will apply.

Small Business
Dues are $300 per year. A business has 1-5 employees.

Police Suppliers
Dues are $600 per year. A business has 6-14 employees.

Executive Corporate
Dues are $1,000 per year. A business has 15 or more employees.

Membership Benefits include: discounted booth prices at conferences, FPCA membership list with contact information, discounted advertising in FPCA digital newsletters and programs, tickets to attend Member only events, FPCA Business decals, a membership card for the company and lapel pins.

Honorary
This membership type is reserved for those individuals, not businesses, which support law enforcement but are not in the field. Members of the public that want to help law enforcement are encouraged to join.

Membership at various contribution rates includes different benefits:
$25 Dues – 2 Decals and access to annual issues of the FPCA Digital Newsletter
$50 Dues  – 2 Decals and access to annual issues of the FPCA Digital Newsletter and an FPCA lapel pin
$100 Dues  – 2 Decals and access to annual issues of the FPCA Digital Newsletter, an FPCA lapel pin and an exclusive FPCA Tag Holder

Associate
Dues are $110 per year. Membership in this group shall be for any person not eligible for other law enforcement categories, but who are qualified by training and experience in law enforcement activity or by other professional attainments in criminal justice sciences.  These members are eligible for discounts on FPCA trainings.
