The Ponce Inlet Police Department is seeking a dedicated, community-focused police officer to join our team. The Town of Ponce Inlet is a 7 square-mile barrier island community, located just south of Daytona Beach. It is not only a popular destination for tourists and visitors, but also a great place to live. Bordered on the east by the Atlantic Ocean and on the west by the Intercoastal Waterway, Ponce Inlet is home to the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse, one of the tallest lighthouses in the United States. The Ponce Inlet Police Department is fully accredited by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation. We have an authorized strength of 15 full time officers and 2 administrative staff. $7,500 Signing Bonus
Starting Salary $57,608
Additional $4,164 if you do not utilize Town healthcare
Additional $1,900 vehicle stipend
Additional $2.00/Hr. shift differential 5pm-5am
12 Hour Shifts / Every other weekend off
