TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida Police Chiefs Association (FPCA) today announced the recipient of the 2015 FPCA Legislator of the Year Award is Representative Neil Combee (R-Auburndale). Representative Combee was honored by the organization because of his work securing ongoing funding for law enforcement training throughout the state.
“Training is such an essential element for our law enforcement officers, especially as we work to build relationships of trust within the communities we protect,” said Jupiter Police Chief Frank Kitzerow, President of the FPCA. “An officer who is properly trained is the best resource our departments can have. We can’t thank Representative Combee enough for his support of this issue.”
