FDLE Commissioner Swearingen Extends Good Wishes
Tallahassee, Fla. – The Florida Police Chiefs Association (FPCA) announced today that Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Assistant Commissioner Jennifer Cook “Cookie” Pritt will join FPCA as Deputy Executive Director in February, 2021, after her retirement from FDLE. Pritt will work under FPCA Executive Director Amy Mercer on a variety of FPCA priorities.
FPCA President and Satellite Beach Police Department Chief Jeff Pearson said, “We’re extremely proud to announce the addition of Cookie to the FPCA team. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise, but more importantly, the respect of the entire law enforcement community.”
Said Pritt, “I’m honored to be joining a team of consummate professionals at FPCA. As a law enforcement leader, I appreciate and respect the challenges our Chiefs go through to maintain safety in collaboration with their communities while also supporting the mental and physical well being of their officers. I look forward to being able to support the needs of our Chiefs and I’m humbled by this opportunity to work at FPCA.”
