Dispatcher/Communication Center Employee of the Year
This award is presented to an individual employed within a Communications Center in recognition of their outstanding service, efforts to public safety and dedication to the agency. The recipient is recognized for consistently going above and beyond in serving the public, the officers, fire personnel, administration, other agencies, and co-workers. This may be awarded to a Dispatcher, Dispatch Supervisor, Call Taker, Radio Technician, CAD Manager, or any other employee assigned to the Communication Center.
Award Recipients:
Annually, three awards will be presented to one winner from each of the following sized agencies:
- Small (1 – 30 sworn officers)
- Medium (31 – 75 sworn officers)
- Large (more than 75 sworn officers)
NOMINATION PACKAGE
- The nomination form must be completed and submitted online via the FPCA website by clicking HERE
- The complete nomination package must be uploaded at time of submission so please have your nomination package available before you begin completing the form.
- Your nomination package should include the following and be in a Word or Adobe PDF file format:
- A memorandum or cover letter from the nominator addressed to the FPCA Executive Director Jennifer Pritt. The memorandum/cover letter must attest that the supporting documentation provided is accurate.
- A narrative (with optional supporting documentation) outlining the following criteria:
- The nominee’s service to the public;
- The nominee’s service to the officers and fire personnel;
- The nominee’s service to their administration; and
- The nominee’s accomplishments to other agencies and co-workers
- All nominations should be combined to create one (1) single electronic document nomination package. The package must be in a Word or Adobe PDF file format. The total nomination package must not exceed 3 pages. Any nomination packages over (3) pages will not be considered. DEADLINE: February 1st
All nominations must be submitted via the submission form on the FPCA website.
