|Sewall’s Point is a small municipality located in Martin County, Florida. The Town, with 2,000 residents, maintains a police force of 10 sworn officers, including the Chief of Police and one civilian. The Department is a valued part of the Sewall’s Point community, and is seeking three community-minded officers to join its ranks.

Officers perform a variety of duties and tasks and are responsible for the protection of life and property and the enforcement of laws/regulations. This position is essential and is required to report to duty before, during, and immediately after a civil emergency. The duties of a police officer are to enforce laws and ordinances related to protecting the general public and property to enhance the quality of life for the citizens and visitors within the Town. The police officer is expected to provide law enforcement protection and services, including conducting criminal investigations, traffic enforcement, crime prevention, and general police services. Facilitates the development of public trust and confidence in the Town.
