General Manager-FL
POSITION SUMMARY: The General Manager is responsible for all operations of the Florida office(s). This includes building relationships with customers, all hiring, and oversight of daily operations ensuring the highest safety standards.

1. Schedule all crews on a daily basis
2. Process any proposals
3. Conduct interviews for new hires
4. Perform job site visits
5. Manage daily crews
6. Review and submit timesheets
7. Handle any employee disciplinary matters
8. Prepare daily, weekly reports
9. Customer Liaison
10. Order any rental equipment as needed
11. Oversee maintenance of equipment
12. Handle safety incident reporting
Competencies
1. Thorough understanding of the South Florida traffic control industry
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
3. Excellent customer service skills.
4. Ability to direct traffic control
5. Knowledge of MS Office
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme heat, near moving mechanical parts and includes occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and to vibration. Maybe exposed to hazardous tolls and equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.to 3 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required.
Travel
There is no anticipated overnight travel for this position. Some local day travel may be required.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma/GED
8-10 years of management experience in the South Florida traffic control industry
Preferred Education and Experience
Associates Degree
